What or who exactly is Republic of Gamers?

After googling and searching for the “Best” Laptop there is in the market in terms of performance, usability and style, the search engines most of the time gives me results that has the word Republic of Gamers in it. Results like “Asus Republic of Gamers G51jx-a1 Laptops”, or when I get a result like Asus G73jh-a1 or like G51jx-a1 laptop it has the words Republic of Gamers stuck in it and made me think a Republic of Gamers Laptops is synonymous to the best laptops there is out there. Then after researching about it I found the Republic of Gamers site and it is owned by Asus. Their creed was “dedicated to deliver the most innovative and best performing PC solutions to enhance the gaming experience of power users” meaning the laptops that will come from this line are bad ass (I meant that on a positive way) laptops that will outperform most of the competing laptops out there.
